Garden Thyme is preparing for change and a NEW focus.  I want to sell items that improve lives and helps Mother Earth as well.

I want as much earth friendly products as possible. Garden Thyme will provide more handmade useful items and artwork made of recycled matierals.

I have spent much of the winter studing the Principles of Permaculture, not only is it a gardening technique but a way of life. My husband and I moved to Bishop Hill to make a change in our life. We love our new place in this world and want to share all that is great about Bishop Hill.facebook_1552954699239

Garden Thyme is located in a small Historical Swedish Colony in Bishop Hill Illinois. There my son Alex and I create in our Studio Art Gallery. What we create depends on the time of year. I have two passions one is gardening and the other is art. So in the spring you will find me in the garden and making fairy gardens. Throughout the season I grow produce for a farm stand. Then near the end of summer I love painting outside around this beautiful town. I plan workshops and teach others about my passion. I also have a deep love for Mother Earth and plan on doing my share to help save our planet. Planting and propogating, creating art from natural and pre-loved materials. Alex is my own personal sidekick. He is a wonderful artist creating through the eyes of a kind soul. He is less interested in the garden but likes to eat the colorful healthy produce. He brings interest and love to our studio. He is an awesome person with autism and loves speaking to customers about anime.

  2. These are gorgeous! Looks like you are taking lots of exciting steps to broaden your shop, and I LOVE incorporating useful, eco and permaculture items. It would be such a charming spot to buy some sweet baby plants and flowers!

    1. I have 50 trees and shrubs coming next week. Butterfly Bush, rosa rugosa. red twig dogwood, willow, elderberry, naking cherry. I am going to plant half of them and try to sell the others. Randy wants me to plant all of them, lol
